About Me
I moved from Colorado to Alaska in 1997, raising a family here and making it my home. I have worked as a professional fire fighter in Anchorage, Alaska since 2002 and serve as a Captain in the busiest station in Anchorage. I started formal firearm Instructor training in 2009 with the RSTA group and have been helping students learn skills and improve their shooting ever since. I teach new and experienced shooters, civilians and professionals. I have led the church security team of a large local congregation since 2017 and act as a consultant for other congregations in the implementation of effective security in their places of worship.

About Me
I have been shooting and hunting since the age of 6. Years spent out in the field on hunts and at the range assisting with classes have given me a strong foundation in both safety and proper shooting techniques. For the last 2 years I have been competing in pistol shooting leagues further developing my skills. I am competent in keeping a safe range and coaching students in proper shooting techniques.
